By accessing or using Carcasso at carcasso.com.au, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free tier users and paid subscribers.
Carcasso provides joinery quoting, planning, and PDF generation software for trade professionals in Australia. The service includes:
Important — output accuracy: All PDF outputs, cut lists, elevations, and quotes are guides to assist your professional workflow. They are not certified engineering drawings. You must verify all measurements against the physical site before ordering materials, manufacturing, or installing any cabinetry. We are not liable for errors arising from incorrect input data provided by you, or decisions made based on Carcasso output without independent verification.
To use Carcasso you must be:
Carcasso is not intended for personal, domestic, or household use. It is a professional B2B trade tool.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same person or business. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Free tier: Available at no charge. Includes 3 jobs per month for the first 3 months, then 1 job per month. Wardrobe room type only. PDFs include a Carcasso watermark.
14-day free trial: New accounts automatically receive 14 days of full Pro access at no charge. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, your account reverts to the Free tier unless you subscribe to Pro.
Pro plan: AUD $29.00 per month (includes GST). Unlimited jobs. All 8 room types. No watermark. Billed monthly in advance.
Business plan: AUD $79.00 per month (includes GST). Includes all Pro features plus logo and ABN branding on PDFs and priority support. Billed monthly in advance.
All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST at 10%. Carcasso is GST registered (ABN 62 912 909 739, registered from 01 October 2022).
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on your subscription anniversary date. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method through Stripe on each renewal date.
We will send you a billing receipt by email each time a payment is charged. If a payment fails, we will notify you and you will have 7 days to update your payment method before your account is downgraded to the Free tier.
We may change our subscription prices. If we increase the price of your current plan, we will give you at least 30 days written notice by email before the new price takes effect. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you will be charged the new price from your next renewal date. You may cancel at any time without penalty if you do not agree to a price change.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel within the Carcasso app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — you will not be charged again and your access to Pro features continues until that date. We do not charge cancellation fees.
After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your job data is retained for 90 days, during which you can export your PDFs. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion by emailing [email protected].
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) apply to this service and cannot be excluded by these terms (see Section 14 below).
In addition to your ACL rights, we offer the following voluntary refund policy:
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and the reason for your request.
Note: Nothing in this clause limits your rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law where a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
You retain full ownership of all job data, measurements, room designs, and configurations you create in Carcasso. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your designs or professional work.
PDFs and cut lists you generate are yours to use for any commercial or professional purpose, including providing them to clients and fabricators.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
The Carcasso software, source code, user interface design, PDF templates, calculation algorithms, and brand (including the name "Carcasso" and logo) are the intellectual property of KABBOUT, TAHA trading as Carcasso.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, sell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Carcasso software. You may not use the Carcasso name or logo without our written permission.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep Carcasso available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.
We may add, modify, or remove features from time to time. For changes that materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan you are subscribed to, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email. If you are not satisfied with a material change, you may cancel your subscription for a proportional refund of unused days.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, and subject to Section 14 (your ACL rights which cannot be excluded):
Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. For disputes that cannot be resolved through our support team, both parties agree to attempt mediation before commencing court proceedings. Any court proceedings will be conducted in New South Wales, Australia.
Note: For disputes involving Stripe payment processing, Stripe's Regional Terms for Australia also apply — see stripe.com/au/legal.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify all registered users by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. For non-material changes (such as clarifications or corrections that do not affect your rights), we may update the terms without prior notice. Continued use of Carcasso after the notice period constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not accept updated terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect and receive a refund for unused days in your current billing period.
