What wardrobe dimensions does the planner start with?
The starting layout uses a 2400 mm ceiling and a 900 mm bay width, with 600 mm depth, a 100 mm kickboard and a 1850 mm door zone. You can change the measurements to match your room.
Is 600 mm wardrobe depth right for every room?
600 mm is the planner's starting depth. Check the available room depth, door type, hanging needs and circulation space, and measure the site before settling the final design.
Can I plan an L-shaped or walk-in wardrobe?
Yes. The planner supports linear, L-shaped, U-shaped and walk-in layouts. Measure each wall and note corners and obstructions before arranging the bays.
Is the planner really free?
Yes. Designing in 3D, sharing a link and saving a photo of your design are free, with no credit card required. Paid plans exist for cabinetmakers, but you don't need one to design and share.
Do I need exact measurements to start?
No. A rough tape-measure of the wall width, height and depth is enough to start designing. You can change any measurement later and the whole design redraws instantly.
What happens after I design something?
Your design is saved to your free account. You can share it with one link, keep editing it, or use the built-in “get this built” request form if you'd like a cabinetmaker to look at it. Final sizes and pricing for a real job are always confirmed by your cabinetmaker after a site measure.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Carcasso runs in the browser on iPad, Mac and Windows — nothing to install. Many people design on the iPad on the couch and share the link from there.
Do I need any design or CAD experience?
No. You type measurements in the same way you'd write them down, pick cabinets and colours from a visual library, and the drawing does itself.
Can I design a walk-in wardrobe?
Yes. The planner handles linear, L-shape, U-shape and walk-in layouts, including corner treatments, so the design matches the real shape of your room.
