Free 3D TV unit planner

Design your TV or entertainment unit in real millimetres — floating console or full media wall — see it in 3D as you go, and walk away with a plan you can hand to any cabinet maker.

A real planner, not a sketch toy.

Carcasso is the same drawing engine Australian cabinet makers use to quote jobs — you get the free design side. Everything you place is a real cabinet with real dimensions, so the entertainment unit you design is one a workshop can actually build.

Floating console or full media wall
Set your wall size in millimetres and shape the unit to the room — a low-line console, cabinets and shelves around a fireplace opening, or a full wall of towers and overhead cabinets.
Real cabinet sizes
TV recesses, drawer consoles, AV cabinets, bookshelf towers and floating shelves from a library of over 190 real cabinet types — sized the way workshops actually build them.
Doors, colours and finishes
Choose from 21 door styles — including glass display doors — and Australian colour ranges (including Polytec-style board colours), and watch the 3D view update live.
Share it with one link
Send one link so family or your cabinet maker sees exactly what you designed — in full 3D, no login needed.

Three steps, one plan.

01

Measure the wall

Type in the wall width, height and depth in millimetres. A rough tape-measure number is enough to start — you can adjust any time.

02

Design the unit

Pick consoles, cabinets, shelves and a TV recess. The plan, elevation and 3D view redraw live as you make each choice.

03

Share it or get it built

Grab a share link for family or a cabinet maker, or use the built-in request form to ask about getting it built.

Straight answers.

Is the planner really free?
Yes. Designing in 3D, sharing a link and saving a photo of your design are free, with no credit card required. Paid plans exist for cabinet makers, but you don't need one to design and share.
Will my TV actually fit the unit I design?
You type every measurement in millimetres, so you can size a TV recess or console to your exact screen. Check your TV's real width and height on its spec sheet (not the diagonal inches), allow some breathing room, and adjust any time — the design redraws instantly.
Should the unit be floating or floor-standing?
You can design either and compare. The library includes floating consoles and floating shelves as well as floor-standing cabinets, drawer consoles and full-height towers, so you can see both looks on your wall in 3D before deciding.
Where do the media gear and cables go?
That's a cabinet choice you make in the planner: closed AV and media cabinets hide set-top boxes and game consoles, drawer consoles swallow remotes and controllers, and open shelves stay for display. Cable holes and power point positions are details your cabinet maker finalises at build time.
What happens after I design something?
Your design is saved to your free account. You can share it with one link, keep editing it, or use the built-in “get this built” request form if you'd like a cabinet maker to look at it. Final sizes and pricing for a real job are always confirmed by your cabinet maker after a site measure.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Carcasso runs in the browser on iPad, Mac and Windows — nothing to install. Many people design on the iPad on the couch and share the link from there.
