Drawings and outputs

Everything you can download or print lives in one place: Output.

The Output menu#

Press Output in the top bar or ⌘E. It is grouped:

Plan set (A3 PDF)#

An A3 landscape drawing set: plan, elevations and a cabinet schedule, with your business name and logo from Settings. Pressing it first opens Plan set — check before generating: it lists the set-out and heights for each wall and any fields still blank (Prints TBC), and lets you fill Drawing ref and Client name. Then press Generate plan set. Spec notes and appliance models come from Room → Job info & appliances (title block).

Drawings (PNG)#

Each drawing saved as an image — handy for messages. If there are no cabinets yet you see Nothing to save yet — add a cabinet first.

Install / site sheet#

A printable page for the installer: install order (base, tall, kickboards…), every cabinet's size, distance from the wall start and heights above finished floor, fixing points, services set-out, appliance openings with clearance notes, and a check-measure list. It opens in a new tab — Allow pop-ups to open the site sheet if your browser blocks it. Clearances are rules of thumb; the appliance manual always governs.

3D images and models#

  • 3D view (PNG) — a picture of the 3D view as it is now.
  • 3D model (.glb) — for web viewers, Blender and most 3D apps.
  • SketchUp (OBJ) — a zipped .obj + .mtl; trade view, wardrobes only.

Switch to 3D first; otherwise the app asks you to.

AR — see it in the room#

AR model (.usdz) saves a file you open on an iPhone or iPad to stand the design in the room. The easier way for a client is the share link's See it in your room button: tap View in your space, then point the camera at the floor.

Backup job file#

Backup plan file (.carcasso.json) is the whole job in one file. See Saving.

Watermarks#

On every plan (Free, trial and Pro), every PDF page carries a small Carcasso credit line ("Made with Carcasso · carcasso.com.au") in the bottom margin. A Plan Pack export for that one design does not carry it. On the Free plan the Output menu marks the plan set and brief Pro (trade view) or Plan Pack (simple view). See Plans.
