My rates — coming soon#
Quoting from your own rates — board per sheet, edge tape, hardware, labour, delivery and your margin — is coming soon. Until it is, Carcasso shows no prices anywhere: not in the app, not on a share link and not on a PDF.
The live quote — coming soon#
A live quote card on the canvas, and a total with GST on the client's share link, are coming soon.
Door & drawer schedule and sheet count#
Output → Door & drawer schedule: every cabinet with its wall, width, doors, style, colour, handle and drawers, plus a hardware list (runners, fixings, handles, accessories) and a rough sheet count for each board. Press Print / PDF for the bench. Bathroom rooms add tiling take-off settings.
The sheet count also sits on the canvas (Rough quantities). It is worked out from the parts as you drew them, so it follows every size you enter — an area estimate with a nesting allowance, not a cut plan, so check it with your supplier before ordering.
Cabinet labels & cut list — coming soon#
The cut list — the printed sheet, the CSV, cabinet and part labels — is coming soon. Until then, every size you enter shows on the plan, the elevations and in the Inspector, and the door & drawer schedule gives the sheet count.
Part DXF — coming soon#
One layered DXF per panel is coming soon. Part DXF files have not yet been validated in any CAM package — test one part on your machine before you run a job once they arrive.
Supplier part-list formats — coming soon#
Part lists in the format your cut-to-size supplier or optimiser wants (column order, delimiter, edge codes, units, grain notation) are coming soon, with the cut list.
Sheet nesting — coming soon#
Laying the drawn parts out on sheets — kerf, edge trim, grain lock and nest-order labels — is coming soon. The rough sheet count per board is live now: see Door & drawer schedule and sheet count.
Approvals (invoices coming soon)#
Output → Approval shows whether your client approved the shared design (and which revision), their comments and your replies.
Raising invoices off the approved revision — deposit and progress claims, variations and tax invoices with GST — is coming soon as a separate paid plan or add-on, not part of Pro.
GST or no GST#
Tick Registered for GST in Settings → Business profile to record whether you are registered. It will set GST on quotes and invoices when those arrive (coming soon).
Your business on every PDF#
Settings → Business profile: business name, ABN, phone, email and logo (PNG or JPG, up to 500 KB). The logo prints top-left on your PDFs and your details top-right. Press Save settings.
Coming soon#
- The cut list in every form: the in-app sheet and its CSV, cabinet and part labels, part DXF, supplier part lists, sheet nesting, a cut-list spreadsheet and Excel workbook, and a cut-list sheet inside the plan-set PDF.
- Quotes from your own rates, and invoices off an approved design.
- A Business plan for multi-person workshops.
- Live supplier price lists.
- Describe the job (lay a job out from a written description — not in the app yet), and the kitchen Island, Peninsula and Butler pantry layout tiles.
